(Jeju = Yonhap News) The Korea Meteorological Administration announced that a heavy rain advisory will be in effect for the mountainous areas of Jeju Island, the mid-mountainous areas of Seogwipo City, and the southern part of Seogwipo City as of 4:15 p.m. on the 23rd.

A heavy rain advisory is issued when 3-hour rainfall is expected to exceed 60 mm or 12-hour rainfall is expected to exceed 110 mm. Even if you use an umbrella, it is difficult to properly avoid the rain. Caution is needed regarding accidents such as river flooding.
