On Monday the 12th, the entire country will be cloudy, with showers expected to fall in the central region, including the metropolitan area, and inland Gangwon, while rain is forecast in Jeju Island and the Jeonnam region. The lowest morning temperature is expected to be 13 to 20 degrees, and the highest daytime temperature is expected to be 22 to 29 degrees.

While the late heat wave was rampant across the country on the 11th with daytime temperatures exceeding 30 degrees, this heat wave is expected to continue until the 12th and then subside after rain falls across the country on the 13th. The temperature will drop by about 5 to 10 degrees on the morning of the 14th, making it chilly.

The city of Seoul announced that it will hold the '2026 Seoul Gardening Crew Challenge' on the 17th and 24th at World Cup Park, where 80 young people will participate in planning and creating a 76㎡ garden. The target audience is young people aged 19 to 39, and applications can be made through the Google form until the 16th.

Showers are expected to fall across the country on Monday the 12th, and there is news of rain from afternoon to evening in the central inland areas such as Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi, eastern Jeonbuk, and central and northern inland Gyeongbuk. The expected precipitation is 5 to 10 mm, the lowest morning temperature is 13 to 20 degrees, and the highest daytime temperature is 22 to 28 degrees. In the central inland area, caution must be taken to prevent forest fires due to dry air.

As Tropical Storm 'Rachel' moved toward southern California, wave heights increased, and coastal flooding warnings were issued from Malibu to San Diego due to high tides and winds blowing from the sea to land. Newport Beach beaches and piers were closed, and Long Beach beachfront homes were under mandatory evacuation orders. On social media, images of people driving through flooded roads and riding surfboards through submerged palm trees were captured, and coastal residents complained of anxiety over floods they had not experienced in decades.

Rain showers are expected to fall across the country on the last day of the 11-day holiday. Rainfall is expected to be 5 to 20 mm in the southern inland and mountainous regions of Gangwon, Daejeon, Sejong and South Chungcheong Provinces, and North Chungcheong Province, and 5 to 10 mm in eastern Jeollabuk-do, eastern Jeollanam-do, Daegu and Gyeongbuk inland and northeastern mountainous regions, and western Gyeongnam interiors. Raindrops may also fall on Jeju Island and the Jeonnam coast, and daytime temperatures are expected to be 22 to 28 degrees.
