According to statistics from the Textile Exhibition Association, Taiwanese exhibitors include Formosa Plastics Corporation, Far East New, Lili Group, Ruhong, New World Group, Hongyuan, Jisheng, Shin Kong Synthetic Fiber, Nanwei, Xingcai, etc., and 26 textile-related companies such as spinning, weaving, knitting, clothing, zippers, non-woven fabrics, etc. will participate; relevant units of the Ministry of Economic Affairs will also display the results of industrial upgrading such as AI applications, smart manufacturing and recycled materials.
According to the Textile Industry Association, this year's TITAS focuses on three major themes: sustainable environmental protection, functional application and smart manufacturing. Among them, AI, data analysis and digital simulation have gradually penetrated into the textile product development and production process. The applications have extended from digital sampling and smart cloth inspection to quality prediction, process data integration and production decision-making. Real-time data and AI analysis have improved development speed, process accuracy and production efficiency.
In terms of sustainability, the sources of recycled materials have expanded from plastic bottles to abandoned fishing nets and agricultural wastes. Technologies such as textile recycling (Textile-to-Textile) and single-material design have continued to develop. On the manufacturing side, technologies such as dope dyeing, solvent-free processes, and spray dyeing have been introduced to reduce the use of energy, water resources, and chemicals.
In addition, TITAS launched the "Taiwan Textile Select" apparel display area for the first time this year, integrating the materials and technologies of more than 30 Taiwanese textile companies to design and produce 13 sets of concept garments, extending from material display to end applications, connecting supply chain links such as yarn, fabric, accessory materials, design and ready-made garments, and assisting buyers to connect with suppliers according to purchasing needs.
