Vladimir Putin announced the introduction of more than 30 thousand sanctions against Russia

Over 30 thousand sanctions were imposed against Russia, which is almost twice as many as the number of restrictions against all other countries of the world combined. Russian President Vladimir Putin stated this at the BRICS business forum in New Delhi, as quoted by RIA Novosti.

“Even under conditions of severe external restrictions, it is possible to set ambitious goals and solve them successfully,” the head of state emphasized. He clarified that over the past four years, the geography of Russian foreign trade has changed dramatically, and the structural changes launched in the country’s economy have made it stronger, more stable and more mobile.

Putin arrived in India on September 11 for a three-day visit and has already held talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
