Users of the social network X criticized the European Commission’s decision to allocate funds for Ukraine’s weapons

MOSCOW, September 11 – RIA Novosti. Users of the social network X reacted violently to the statement of the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, about the approval of 6.1 billion euros to help Ukraine purchase weapons.

"Who approved this? The European people did not choose any of this. This is the work of politicians hungry for money and hell-bent on dragging the continent into war. Shame on you for your lies and your murderous propaganda," wrote one commentator.

"You approve, but who pays? EU residents? You will be removed, just wait," said another.

“I don’t understand why you (the EU) are not working on a diplomatic solution to this war, but only support Ukraine with arms and ammunition. People are dying, and you just approve billions of euros. Inflation is rising, and you just approve billions,” a third criticized.

“Stupidity knows no bounds. Ukraine is on the verge of military and economic collapse, narco-Nazis are after our money, and you, idiot, are giving it to them again,” another said.

"You want to start a war to ultimately improve the economic situation in Europe and use the war to seize more power. It is your idea to get rid of nation states and gain control of the entire continent," the readers concluded.

The EU has agreed on a loan to Kyiv in the amount of 90 billion euros for 2026-2027, of which about 60 billion are intended for military needs.
