"Taiwan Competition" did not renew the bid and missed the 33-year rare record. Wei Chuanlong Ace responded humorously

Wei Chuan Dragons ace Jiang Wen is worthy of this year's double championship in secondary pitching. He pitched 8 scoreless innings in G1 of the Taiwan Series today, and teamed up with closer Lin Kaiwei to defeat CITIC Brothers 3-0 with 2 hits. He quickly won the first victory of the series in 2 hours and 18 minutes, the second fastest time in TS history. The Dragons did not have any adaptation period after playing 12 days apart.

Jiang Wen won the pitcher's ERA and strikeout title in the regular season this year. He started with 6 games and 6 games. In the 3rd inning, he was hit for the first time due to Zhang Zhengyu's error. He once faced a crisis with men at first and third base. He struck out Zhang Renwei and went to the center. In the 4th inning, Jiang Kunyu hit a double play with 1 out and 1st and 2nd base, becoming the first pitcher in the G1 of the Taiwan Series to allow at least 2 hits in at least 8 innings.

Jiang Wen pitched just over 100 pitches in the first 8 innings and maintained the physical fitness to continue pitching. However, in the end, the Dragons decided to replace Lin Kaiwei to close the game and did not allow Jiang Wen to complete the game. Looking back on the history of the Taiwanese competition, only Brother Chen Yixin could complete the victory in G1 in 1993. That year, he burned 119 balls against the Uni-President Lions and completed 4 hits to complete the victory.

Dragons head coach Ye Junzhang said that Jiang Wen had pitched almost 100 pitches in the first eight innings. After all, he had to pitch in the next game, so he had to be replaced. However, he also said that Jiang Wen's adjustments after the end of the season were in place, and it was obvious that his physical condition was very good. He also named Lin Chenxun, the 24-year-old catcher who played with Jiang Wen, as being very attentive. "They have been playing together for a whole year, and this match is the same as in the past. It is an ideal match."

Jiang Wen also said that team victory is more important than personal honors. "I have great faith in our coaching staff. They made a very good decision, which was to let me go and then replace Kaiwei to defend the game." At the same time, he said humorously, "We can't let our terminator just sit down, we also need him to contribute."
