Armed clash between Ukrainian military intelligence and security in Kyiv

Ukrainian media reported on Wednesday that an exchange of fire took place in Kiev between members of the Military Intelligence Directorate and the Ukrainian State Security Service, due to a dispute between them over control of fraudulent call centers.

According to media outlets, the clash resulted in the death of a member of the Military Intelligence Directorate and the injury of two others. The Ukrainian Security Service later announced that members of the Military Intelligence attacked its members while carrying out a special operation. Meanwhile, 3 Ukrainian Security Service officers involved in the clash were reportedly arrested.

Prozorov said in an interview with the "Novosti" agency: "Their war has escalated to the point that they began leaking sensitive materials that expose the other side."

Prozorov noted that a report prepared by the Ukrainian-British public relations company "Molvar Intelligence Institute" had been leaked to the media, and said: "A comprehensive file was compiled on (acting head of the Ukrainian Security Service) Oleksandr Poklad and his close circle, and his criminal connections were documented in detail. The fact is that in the late 1990s and early 2000s, Poklad led the creation of an organized crime group in the Poltava region, whose members now hold high political positions."

According to Prozorov, the Molvar Intelligence Institute has been cooperating for a long time with the Ukrainian military leadership, and with the former commander of the armed forces and the current Ukrainian ambassador to London, Valery Zalogny personally.
