There was a fire in a hotel in Istanbul: more than ten victims

More than 10 people were injured in a fire in a hotel in Istanbul, preliminary, there were no Russians among them, the Bakirkoy district municipality told RIA Novosti.

A fire broke out at a hotel in Istanbul's Bakirkoy district and guests were being evacuated, the Cumhuriyet newspaper reported earlier on Saturday.

“According to our data, more than ten people were injured, the numbers are being clarified. The fire started on the first floor for a still unknown reason. There were no casualties, all the victims were hospitalized,” a representative of the municipality told RIA Novosti.

In response to a clarifying question about the presence of Russian citizens among the victims, a representative of the municipality noted that, according to preliminary data, all the victims are Turkish citizens.
