Likhachev: The Turkish Akkuyu station is about to operate and the situation in Zaporozhye has stabilized

He pointed out during the East Economic Forum in the city of Vladivostok in the Russian Far East that the first unit of the Turkish “Akuyu” station is “one step away” from operation, and that “Rosatom” is ready to maintain “Bushehr” in mid-September, after a deep discussion between Russian Presidents Vladimir Putin and Masoud Pezeshkian in Bishkek.

In the file of the Zaporozhye station in Zaporozhye Province, which joined Russia in southeastern Ukraine, Likhachev stressed the stability of the radiation background and the reactors, noting the need to restore the station’s external electrical supply soon, denouncing Western pressure on the Director General of the Atomic Agency, Rafael Grossi, which hinders the evaluation of the attacks by marches on the station.
