Before today's Game 6 matchup with CITIC Brothers, Weiquan Dragons catcher Jiang Shaohong suddenly stepped forward and "predicted" to the media: "I think I will hit a home run today." As a result, in the 8th round when the Halong team took over the overall situation, Jiang Shaohong really started to hit the ground running. His first hit in the Taiwan competition of his career also set the tone for the victory.

Jiang Shaohong said that the original goal of this series was to set the ball zone as well as possible. The continuous good hitting during the process may be one of the reasons why he can maintain a high batting average. Jiang Shaohong also said frankly that pitcher Messi Strontium was able to deal with the batter today, while his side was trying to find a way to get on base. Zhang Zhengyu's hit greatly boosted the team's morale.

When asked about the most impressive aspect of this series, Jiang Shaohong said: "The most impressive thing is our pitching staff, which was able to shut out the opponent 3 times. This part shows how powerful our pitching staff is, and it is not easy."

In the history of the Taiwanese competition, which is a best-of-seven series, no matter how many games the two teams played against each other, the most times a team has shutout in a series is 2. This year, among the 4 wins of the Wei Chuan Dragons, they have shutout CITIC Brothers 3 times, setting a new high in history.
