Rennes leads the French League with a win over Marseille, Schalke wins the Bundesliga, and Camavinga proves his worth with Real Madrid

Rennes achieved a valuable victory over its guest Marseille, 1-0, in the fourth round of the French League.

French defender Adrian Thomas scored the only goal of the match in the 52nd minute, with a pass from Jordanian striker Musa Al-Taamari, who came on as a substitute in the second half.

Schalke team achieved its first victory after returning to the German Premier League, "Bundesliga", by defeating its host Union Berlin 3-1 on Friday in the opening of the third round of the competition.

Schalke's first goal was scored by Robin Gosens in the 25th minute, Frenchman Adil Aouchichi added the second goal in the 46th minute, then Tim Skarke scored Union Berlin's only goal in the sixth minute of stoppage time in the second half, and at the end of stoppage time, Maximilian Wupper sealed the hat-trick for the visiting team, Schalke.

Despite the insistence of the Turkish club management, the player categorically refused to leave the Spanish capital, preferring to fight to reserve his place in the team’s lineup, an option that seems to be beginning to bear fruit at the present time.
