The Chiayi City Party Headquarters of the Kuomintang organized 100 living room meetings, starting today in Cui Dai Li. The Blue and White Alliance jointly recommended Chiayi mayoral candidate and former legislator Zhang Qikai, as well as Lanying West District City Councilor and District Chief to attend. They explained the concept of candidacy to the villagers, solicited votes to win support, strengthened the energy of the Blue and White grassroots, and hoped that the 2026 mayor, councilors, and district chiefs would "hit a home run."

The first living room meeting was held in Cui Dai Li. Zhang Qikai, Chiayi City Party Committee Chairman Cai Ming Ming, and Kuomintang MPs Zhang Xiuhua, Zheng Guanghong, Huang Siting, Cui Dai Li Chief Chen Jinhu and others attended the meeting. Nearly a hundred people attended the meeting. Cai Ming hoped that all the mayors, councilors, and district chiefs who were co-recommended would be elected, and they would win every battle.

Zhang Qikai said that in addition to continuing the policies of Chiayi Mayor Huang Minhui and allowing Chiayi to continue to "move forward happily", he also proposed policies such as expanding the elderly card to be used for taking taxis, paying registration fees, and using it in supermarkets and pharmacies, as well as implementing policies such as fully paying the government's health insurance premiums for seniors over 65 years old, accelerating the construction of high-speed rail external tracks, and accelerating the completion of the Niuchou River Expressway.

Zhang Qikai said that in addition to boosting the electoral sentiment of mayors, councilors, and district chiefs and consolidating grassroots energy, Zhang Qikai also conveyed the concept of "continuing Mayor Huang Minhui's high-quality governance." Huang Minhui's policy satisfaction ranks at the top of various public opinion polls, laying the foundation for the development of Chiayi City. Chiayi City is a key constituency supported by Blue and White in the 2026 election. He will continue to launch specific political opinions and demonstrate the specific action capabilities of "cross-party joint governance is the guarantee of quality."
