Moscow: We will respond firmly to the German provocation

Before that, German Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt accused Russia, without any evidence, of involvement in the drone incident at Leipzig Airport.

Leipzig police reported on August 5 that an airport employee found a drone carrying explosives in the security area designated for cargo flights.

Germany accused Russia without providing any concrete evidence, and Moscow described the incident as a politically motivated provocation.

Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Germany has no evidence of threats from Russia, and linked the accusations against Moscow regarding the drone incident in Leipzig to the difficult internal political situation in Germany.
