"Zero Proposal" to Counter Transnational Suppression of the Kuomintang Guo Yuqing: Frequent trips to China and neglecting national security

In response to the Chinese Communist Party's cross-border suppression of Taiwan and the repeated infiltration of the United Front, the Executive Yuan and the Democratic Progressive Party legislators proposed nearly 30 cases of amendments to the "Counter Infiltration Law", "National Security Law", and "Legislators Go to China to Take Administration". The Popular Party Group also proposed a case to amend the "National Security Law"; however, the Kuomintang did not mention a single case. Democratic Progressive Party legislator Guo Yuqing criticized Blue and White for paralyzing national security and putting 23 million people at risk. On the legislative front, the Kuomintang had zero proposals, and even if the People's Party had proposals, it was like match-fixing.

Although the KMT has made a high-profile statement about amending the law, it has repeatedly cooperated with the KMT in the procedural committee to prevent the DPP’s defense bill from entering the review. The Blue Committee has frequently traveled to China, and the KMT has joined forces to block the national security line in the Legislative Yuan.

「我們沒有要阻止任何人去中國！」郭昱晴強調，立委身懷國家機密，去做了什麼、見了誰，本來就該清清楚楚告知全國民眾，在野黨若不是作賊心虛，就請停止惡意杯葛，不要再做統戰滲透的在地破口。
