In addition, professional organizations such as Yonsei University Future Medical Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation, Sangji University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation, and Gangwon Techno Park will participate to provide clinical verification, security and standardization verification, and market entry support.
Applications for the project can be made by email until 6 p.m. on June 30, and final support recipients will be selected through suitability review, presentation evaluation, and on-site inspection.
An official from the Agency said, "We expect that by utilizing digital twin technology and extensive clinical data, we will be able to reduce the time and cost of medical device development and increase the likelihood of commercialization success."
