واعتبرت الحكومة أن تحقيق معدل أعلى من توقعات المؤسسات الدولية، يعكس صلابة واستدامة نمو الاقتصاد المصري في ظل التوترات التي تشهدها المنطقة.

وأوضح وزير التخطيط والتنمية الاقتصادية الدكتور أحمد رستم، أن نمو الناتج المحلي الإجمالي جاء نتيجة تحسن أداء العديد من الأنشطة أبرزها الصناعة وقناة السويس وتكرير البترول، مؤكدا أن العام المالي شهد تعافيا واضحا لنشاط قناة السويس ليصبح من أعلى الأنشطة نموا، بمعدل نمو بلغ 33.8%، كما حقق 23.3% خلال العام المالي، بعد الانكماش الذي شهده العام الماضي.

ونوه بانتعاش نشاط الاتصالات وتكنولوجيا المعلومات، واستمرار النمو المرتفع لنشاط الصناعة غير البترولية بمعدل 9%، مع تحول نشاط تكرير البترول للنمو الموجب بنسبة 8.7%، مقارنة بمعدل انكماش -1.9% خلال العام المالي السابق، وذلك في ظل زيادة الإنتاج وصيانة معامل التكرير.

وذكر أن نشاط الصناعة غير البترولية يعد المساهم الأكبر في نمو الناتج خلال الربع الرابع، ويعد الأكبر أيضا على مستوى العام المالي، كما استمر نشاط الاتصالات في تحقيق معدلات نمو مرتفعة حيث يعد ثاني أعلى القطاعات نموا خلال الربع الرابع -بنسبة 24.3%- والعام المالي أيضا.

وتابع: "حقق نشاط تكرير البترول نموا مرتفعا خلال الربع الرابع بلغ 22.4%، وسجل خلال العام المالي نموا بلغ 8.7% وذلك بعد الانكماش الذي شهده العام الماضي، كما شهد نشاط الاستخراجات طفرة غير مسبوقة؛ حيث تحول النشاط للنمو الموجب لأول مرة خلال الربع الرابع، منذ الربع الثاني للعام المالي 2022/2023، وذلك في ظل تحسن أداء قطاعي البترول والغاز".

وأضاف وزير التخطيط أن العام المالي 2025/2026 شهد نمو نشاط المطاعم والفنادق بنسبة 6.5%، ليحافظ النشاط على مسار نمو إيجابي مدعومًا باستمرار تحسن الحركة السياحية والطلب على الخدمات المرتبطة بها.
