Quick Look

Why It Matters

It is common to work while sick. Young people are less likely to take sick leave, which reflects their personal characteristics and workplace culture.

Research shows that about one-third to half of employees in the UK continue to go to work even if they are sick, a phenomenon known as "working while sick." Young people take fewer sick days, which is related to low job security, fewer health problems and emphasis on mental health. Experts pointed out that personal work centrality and the culture of "holding on" in the workplace are the main reasons, and emphasized that mental health should be treated equally with physical health.

Cryptopterygoid increases in many places in the north: Experts analyze causes and protection guidelines

Recently, cryptopteran worms have appeared frequently in Beijing, Hebei, Henan and other places, causing redness, swelling and blisters on the skin. Cai Wanzhi, a professor at China Agricultural University, pointed out that climate warming and increased rainfall have led to the northward expansion of its distribution. Experts remind that cryptid insects will not actively attack, so you should avoid swatting them. After exposure to toxins, you need to wash them with soapy water and seek medical treatment promptly.
