Two carriages of a freight train derailed on the Korsa – Arsk section in Tatarstan, traffic is organized on one track, about a dozen trains are lagging behind, reports the Gorky Railway (GZD).

“Today at 2.50 Moscow time, on the Korsa – Arsk section of the Gorky Railway, two carriages of a freight train derailed. There were no injuries and no threat to the environment. Traffic on the stretch was temporarily suspended. At 5.19 train traffic on one track was opened,” the message says.

The Gorky Railway notes that trains on this section pass at a reduced speed.
