Guanziling Hot Spring Food Festival debuts with "The Best Cauldron in the World" Chicken Soup Treat

With Typhoon Qiangpi behind us, the Tainan Guanziling Hot Spring Food Festival starts today. The Tourism Bureau once again moved out the "No. 1 Cauldron in the World" and prepared thousands of servings of "Shiitake Mushroom Crispy Bamboo Shoot Soup" as a treat. The aroma was overflowing, and people soaking in the hot springs rushed to taste it. Even with the drizzle, the line of people still stretched for nearly 100 meters; in the evening, there was a festival parade.

Entering the 22nd edition of the Guanziling Hot Spring Food Festival, the opening ceremony was held this afternoon in front of Dachengdian Square. Lin Guohua, acting director of the Tourism Bureau, presided over it. Councilor Xu Zhichun also made a special trip to help promote the event. All walks of life are invited to participate in an autumn feast with a special warm soup and experience the warmest human kindness and charm of the local area.

In the afternoon, the Tourism Bureau used a giant cauldron to cook chicken soup with mushrooms and crispy bamboo shoots to warm up the event and warm the stomachs of the public. In the evening, the Guanling Night Festival parade was held in Baoquan Park. 10 groups of streetwalkers dressed up in costumes led parents and children through the light and shadow of the mountain city, adding to the highlights of the hot spring food festival.

Lin Guohua said that this year’s Guanziling Hot Spring Food Festival series of activities will last until November 22. There will be special markets, fun levels, stamp collection tasks, and free Japanese yukata experiences on both weekends. On November 7, the international "Coming True Fire Dance Troupe" will be invited to perform shocking performances, and the autumn music party will be held on November 7. Yes, there is a second wave of "Shiitake Eggs and Dongshan Coffee" shared by thousands of people. Two small trips to the mountain city will be launched on October 29th, 30th and November 11th. Registration is still open. Everyone is invited to sign up and visit Baihe and Dongshan together to experience the fun of fruit picking and coffee baking.

Lin Guohua said that the event also linked up with a total of 21 operators including Guanziling Hot Spring Area and Dongshan Coffee to provide discounts and launched a lottery activity with a total value of more than 60,000 yuan. As long as you go to the designated store to make purchases and log in, you will have the opportunity to receive rich gifts, including "round-trip air tickets for two people to Okinawa." Mayor Huang Weizhe said that the crisp autumn air is the best season for hot spring tourism. He welcomes the public to seize the opportunity to come to Guanziling to enjoy the nationally famous mud hot springs, eat bucket chicken and other delicious dishes, travel along Dongshan Route 175 to taste the aroma of local coffee, and go to the back wall to buy champion rice, and experience Tainan's rich and diverse customs, culture and industrial characteristics along the way.
