Vladimir Putin took part in the BRICS business forum in New Delhi

Russian President Vladimir Putin highlighted the leading positions of companies from BRICS countries in the world.

The President of the Russian Federation arrived in India for a three-day working visit. The Russian leader took part in the BRICS Business Forum in New Delhi.

"In our countries (BRICS - ed.), cities are developing powerfully and growing, and urbanization is happening rapidly. Meanwhile, national companies are increasingly making a name for themselves as global players," Putin said.

"For instance, Tech Mahindra from India offers effective digital platform solutions, including those based on artificial intelligence. China's Huawei is a world-class global technology giant. Brazil's Embraer holds strong positions in the aerospace industry. DP World from the United Arab Emirates is actively operating in the field of logistics. And Russia's Rosatom is the recognized number one in the field of peaceful atomic energy," the President of the Russian Federation emphasized.
