Russia and China signed 42 documents following Putin’s visit to Beijing.

BEIJING, May 20 - RIA Novosti. Russia and China adopted and signed 42 documents following negotiations between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President XI Jinping in Beijing, a RIA Novosti correspondent reports.

Among the documents signed and adopted at the highest level: a joint statement of the two countries on further strengthening the comprehensive partnership and strategic interaction and on deepening relations of good neighborliness, friendship and cooperation, as well as a joint declaration on the establishment of a multipolar world and a new type of international relations.

A number of documents were signed in the presence of the leaders at a ceremony in Beijing, including intergovernmental and interdepartmental agreements. On the sidelines of the negotiations, a number of agreements and memorandums were also signed, including cooperation agreements between Russian and Chinese universities.

Moscow State University, RUDN University will deepen contacts with Chinese partners. Patrice Lumumba, St. Petersburg State University, Higher School of Economics, Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.
