As of last year, there were 1,377 registered cram schools in Taoyuan City. The Taoyuan City Audit Office found that more than 2 registered cram schools had not been audited in the past five years. Some of the unregistered cram schools had repeatedly violated enrollment regulations but failed to effectively correct them. The method of disclosing illegal information was not conducive to parent inquiries, and the city government was asked to review and improve. The Education Bureau stated in this regard that it will give priority to review cram schools that have not been inspected for a long time, increase penalties for violators, and use a cumulative method to disclose violation records to improve management efficiency and information transparency.
