According to the papers of Case No. 11799 of 2026 Mokattam Misdemeanors, a number of cafe tenants accused officials of the leasing company “SGS” of seeking the help of Ismail Dollar to pressure them to increase the value of the rents, noting that, according to their accounts, they were subjected to acts of threat and a show of force.

The tenants stated in their statements, according to the investigations, that Ismail Dollar came to the complex accompanied by one of the company officials, and they went to the electrical room, where they tried to break the lock in preparation for cutting off the electricity supply to the cafés, while a number of people were present outside the place preparing to intervene in the event that the shop owners objected.

On the other hand, Ismail Dollar denied during the investigations all the accusations against him, and denied that the leasing company had hired him to cut off the electricity supply to the cafés in order to pressure the tenants to raise the rental value.

The accused said that he went to the mall alone after receiving an offer from the leasing company to contract with his security company to assume the tasks of securing the place. He explained that one of the company’s officials informed him of the presence of people causing problems inside the complex, which prompted him to come to inspect the site and coordinate the security arrangements.

Dollar confirmed that he did not take any of his company members with him during his visit to the complex, indicating that if his goal had been a show of force, according to his statements, he would have attended with members of his company.

The Public Prosecution continues its investigations into the incident to determine its circumstances and determine legal responsibilities regarding the accusations under investigation, and ordered Dolar’s ​​detention renewed for 4 days pending investigations.
