Li Sichuan questioned Su Qiaohui’s opposition to the amendment of the Financial Planning Law Su Qiaohui: Opposed to Fu Kunqi’s version

KMT New Taipei mayor candidate Li Sichuan was interviewed today.

Li Sichuan, the New Taipei City mayoral candidate of the Kuomintang, yesterday questioned the New Taipei City mayoral candidate of the DPP, Su Qiaohui, who claims to know the current situation and needs of New Taipei City best, but has opposed the amendment of the "Financial Planning Law" that can increase financial resources. Su Qiaohui now said that what they opposed was Kuomintang League Chief Fu Kunqi's version of the "Financial Planning Law" that was revised indiscriminately, rather than the increase in local financial resources. Li Sichuan responded today that Su Qiaohui has never put forward her version in the 10 years since she served as a legislator. If she really understands New Taipei City so well, the "Financial Planning Law" is necessary.

Li Sichuan was interviewed this afternoon before going to Sanxia to participate in a Hakka group event. Li Sichuan said that Su Qiaohui knows New Taipei City so well that in principle she has not put forward her version as a legislator for 10 years. If she really knows this, the "Financial Planning Law" can increase New Taipei City's financial resources by more than 30 billion yuan, which is necessary.

Regarding Li Sichuan's question of "knowing New Taipei City best, but opposing the amendment of the "Financial Planning Law"", Su Qiaohui responded this morning that they have always been opposed to Fu Kunqi's version, because Fu Kunqi's version makes New Taipei City's per capita only one-half that of Taipei, and Taipei's per capita is so much higher than New Taipei's. Even New Taipei City's finance director and even her opponent have raised the issue. Therefore, they believe that this version was not discussed at the time and did not allow representatives from various counties and cities to understand the meaning behind it.
