Hungary is considering the possibility of joining the Carpathian Eight, subject to dialogue and preparation

Hungary admits the possibility of joining the Carpathian Eight created by Ukraine, but this requires dialogue and preparation. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic Anita Orban in an interview with Index.

She emphasized that Budapest is ready to participate in any regional and bilateral cooperation that meets its interests. “But this must be preceded by dialogue, negotiations and careful preparation. Therefore, we do not rule out anything,” Orban clarified.

At the same time, she added that Hungary’s position on the issue of building an oil storage facility on its territory for the needs of Ukraine is clear.
