Viking starts the confrontation early...an attempt to deprive Bayern Munich of sleep

Bayern Munich is a very heavy guest on the Norwegian Viking team in the second round of the Champions League competition. The Bavarian team is betting on the strength and resilience of its players in order to return with a positive result, especially after the last disappointing draw in the German Football League.

Vikings fans are aware of the strength of the Bayern Munich team, which apparently prompted some of them to rely on a strange trick to confuse them just hours before the awaited match.

Trying to deprive Bayern of sleep!

As for this trick, several people tried to spoil the sleep of the Bayern Munich players. The German magazine "Sport Bild" reported that after midnight, fireworks were launched in front of the hotel where the Bavarian team players were staying. She added that the fireworks lasted for about two minutes.

The fireworks reached the upper floors of the hotel, where the Bayern Munich team is staying. "Sport Bild" explained that the police did not go to the location, which allowed the perpetrators of the incident to continue setting off fireworks without disturbance.

Launching firecrackers in front of the away teams' hotels has become a recurring tradition for some fans. "Sport Bild" magazine believes that some fans of the Norwegian Viking team may be behind the incident, which is not yet known whether it woke up the Bavarian team players or influenced them.

Not the first time!

Last year, Bayern Munich had a similar experience when they visited the Dutch team Feyenoord Rotterdam. It is noteworthy that the Bavarian team collapsed in that match with a surprise hat-trick.

Some fans of the Dutch team Feyenoord Rotterdam set off large amounts of fireworks at night in front of the headquarters of the Bayern Munich team. Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer said in statements reported by various German media outlets: “We all heard that, and we all woke up.”
