The court closed the hearing in the case of the director of a firecracker plant in the Yaroslavl region

The Pereslavl District Court closed the hearing on choosing a preventive measure for the director of the firecracker plant in Kubrinsk in the Yaroslavl region, where 14 people died as a result of a fire, a RIA Novosti correspondent reports from the courtroom.

“The consideration of the petition will be held in a closed court session,” the judge said.

The investigation requested that the meeting be closed, believing that the details of the deaths of 14 people should not be announced publicly. The defense and the prosecutor's office supported the motion.
