National 5A-level tourist attractions in Jiangsu province waive first-pass tickets for nationally certified tour guides

China News Service, Nanjing, September 22 (Reporter Xu Shanshan) On September 22, the reporter learned from the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism that from now on, national 5A-level tourist attractions in Jiangsu Province will waive first-pass tickets for nationally certified tour guides. At the same time, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism is also promoting the implementation of 4A-level tourist attractions with government-guided prices across the province, and will waive first-pass tickets for certified tour guides before the end of 2028.

The relevant person in charge of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism introduced that the launch of this initiative aims to create a tour guide-friendly scenic spot, further optimize the tour guide service environment in Jiangsu, and provide convenience for national tour guides to visit Jiangsu scenic spots, publicize and promote, and showcase the beauty of Jiangsu through win-win cooperation between scenic spots and professional tour guides, so as to achieve cooperation, joint construction, and achievement sharing.

Up to now, there are 25 national 5A-level tourist attractions in Jiangsu province, including Nanjing Zhongshan Scenic Area-Zhongshan Cemetery Scenic Area, Wuxi Huishan Ancient Town Scenic Area, Changzhou Chinese Dinosaur Park Leisure and Tourism Area, and more than 100 4A-level tourist attractions such as Xuzhou Han Culture Scenic Area, Suzhou Luzhi Ancient Town Scenic Area, and Nantong Langshan Scenic Area, which waive first-pass tickets for certified tour guides.

It is understood that a certified tour guide refers to holding his/her electronic tour guide certificate and opening the "National Tour Guide Home" App at any time to view tour guides displaying their tour guide certificates. When a certified tour guide goes to relevant scenic spots, he or she must bring his or her ID card and valid electronic tour guide certificate, and cooperate with the scenic spot for verification before entering the scenic spot.
