Standing in the exhibition hall of Xi'an Museum, German writer Klaus Troyan looked around excitedly and kept raising his camera.

The series of international exchange activities "Lanzhiyue·Talk about Civilization: Global Dialogue Tour" was recently held in Xi'an. Foreign guests from Cambodia, Germany, the United Kingdom and other countries came to Xi'an to start a four-day in-depth visit to the ancient capital.

Ian from the UK has come to Xi'an for the sixth time. Standing in front of the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, he recalled that when he first visited more than 20 years ago, there were only simple courtyards around the ancient pagoda. "Today, Xi'an has developed into a metropolis that blends ancient and modern times, and this area has also completed modernization." He said that China's long history is awe-inspiring, and it is remarkable to cherish and inherit its own history.

The Xi'an Museum, built based on the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, uses its rich collection of cultural relics to fully present the urban development of Xi'an from the Zhou, Qin, Han, and Tang dynasties to the Ming and Qing Dynasties. In the Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum Museum, Chinese and foreign guests had close contact with the historical relics of the Qin Dynasty, and the majestic momentum of the underground military formations more than 2,000 years ago came to their attention.

"I don't want to miss any details." Wang Ping'an, an Afghan blogger who came to Xi'an for the first time, held up the shooting equipment to find the best camera position, and leaned close to the tour guide to listen carefully to the explanation. "I learned that when the Terracotta Warriors and Horses were unearthed, they were almost a large number of broken pottery fragments. The staff collected and repaired each fragment before we could see such a complete military formation. The skills of people in restoring cultural relics are amazing, and the rich history is even more shocking."

Thai blogger Ma Huizhen described this trip in three words: "historical, interesting and unique". "This is my second time visiting the Terracotta Warriors and Horses. Compared with the first time when I visited, I already know a little bit about the relevant history and culture." Ma Huizhen said that in-depth study of local culture can help her understand the way of thinking of local people. "This allows me to create better content and is also conducive to promoting mutual understanding between fans from different cultural backgrounds."
