Tension between Vinicius Junior and Mourinho after Real Madrid's loss in La Liga

In the snapshot, Mourinho approached Vinny to shake his hand and try to talk to him, but the Brazilian star shook his hand briefly and almost without looking at him, before he continued walking quickly past his coach, without showing any desire to stop or listen to him.

These scenes brought back to the minds of the fans the scenario of last season, and the crises that erupted when Vinicius showed disrespect towards his former coach, Xabi Alonso, following the decision to replace him in one of the matches.

The crisis then worsened, leading to Alonso's dismissal from his position in the middle of the season.

As a result, “Merengue” experienced a disastrous season, as the club did not win any title under the leadership of coach Alvaro Arbeloa, who succeeded Alonso, before he left the Royal Club at the end of last season.

A wide segment of Real Madrid fans see a clear similarity in behavior, which has raised their fears of a repeat of the same crisis with the veteran Portuguese coach.

This snapshot comes at an unexpected time, especially after the Spanish newspaper "Marca", which is close to the Royal Club, revealed that Mourinho was one of the main reasons for renewing Vinicius' contract with Real Madrid recently.

She pointed out that the Portuguese coach held a special session with the Brazilian player, in which he encouraged him and assured him that he was one of the cornerstones of the new project for the Royal Club.

Although the behavior may be interpreted as a fleeting reaction resulting from the player's bitterness of defeat, observers believe that this shot will shake Mourinho's confidence in the discipline of his first star.

It is not unlikely that Mourinho, who is known for his firmness, will resort to imposing a deterrent punishment (administrative or technical) by placing the Brazilian winger on the bench in the upcoming matches, in order to impose prestige and preserve the stability of the team’s dressing room.
