With that result, Inter's score, which achieved its seventh victory in the competition during the current season against one draw without suffering any loss, rose to 22 points in the lead, on goal difference against its closest rival, Lazio, which is equal to it on the same score.
On the other hand, Fiorentina's balance, which was unable to win for the fourth consecutive match in the tournament, froze at 4 points in eighteenth place (third from the bottom), knowing that it was the sixth loss in the tournament this season and the third in a row, against one win and one draw.
Top seed Daniil Medvedev overcame a stumble in the first set to defeat Nikoloz Basilashvili 6-7, 6-1, 6-3, thus retaining his title at the Almaty Open on Sunday, thus claiming his fourth ATP title this year.
