The Shiveluch volcano in Kamchatka again threw ash to a height of 6 km

In Kamchatka, the Shiveluch volcano does not sleep; on May 25, it again had a powerful eruption of ash to a height of about six kilometers.

TASS writes about this with reference to the head of the volcanic station in the village of Klyuchi, Yuri Demyanchuk.

The expert noted that the volcano “works” every day.

“Emissions occur at night or in cloudy weather, so we record them only using instruments,” Demyanchuk added.

The volcanologist emphasized that no ashfall was recorded in the village of Klyuchi.

Before this, Shiveluch released a powerful ash salvo on May 18, when the release reached a height of 6.5 kilometers above sea level.
