A man complained of emotional and physical abuse from his wife

A Reddit user with the nickname Horror_Grocery_5750 complained on the portal about the behavior of his wife. The couple has been married for only a little over a year, although their relationship has been going on for many years.

“She is smart, beautiful, kind and generous. But sometimes she becomes emotionally and physically abusive, escalating over time. For example, she allows me to meet with friends, but then I pay dearly for this - conflicts sometimes continue until the early morning. And the last time she hit me, I even had to go to the hospital. I don’t hit back,” the man wrote.

He called himself guilty of condoning his wife’s behavior for years and admitted that he was a weak person. However, he also emphasized that he wanted to get rid of this weakness.

Other users in the comments advised the man to get a divorce as soon as possible. In their opinion, only drastic decisions will help in such a situation.
