The FSB detained a Russian citizen who worked as a security guard at the British Embassy in Moscow on suspicion of treason

The FSB detained for treason an agent of the Security Service of Ukraine - a citizen of the Russian Federation, an employee of the organization that guards the British Embassy in Moscow.

“The Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation, in the course of counterintelligence activities, exposed an agent of the Security Service of Ukraine, a citizen of the Russian Federation, born in 1981, who was an employee of an organization that guards the British Embassy in Moscow,” the FSB said in a statement.

“The defendant has been detained, a criminal case has been opened against him under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“high treason”), and a preliminary investigation is underway,” notes the Russian intelligence service.
