"Taiwan's first TV director" Lin Dengyi won the Golden Bell 61 Lifetime Achievement Award. The conference specially invited Li Xuan, a veteran actor who worked with him in Taiwan's first color TV series "The Dream of the Qing Dynasty", as the introductor. Li Xuan said emotionally: "The director is so humble. He has spent his life behind the camera to achieve others. The youngest son Lin Dasen revealed that his father passed away at the age of 90 last year and fell into a coma on his last day in the hospital. No matter whether his children called him "Dad" or his grandson called him "Grandpa," the old man had no reaction. "But once we call 'Director Lin' ", he immediately reacted obviously. It seems that he really had the words "Director Lin" deeply imprinted on his life before he died. Even the medical staff at the scene changed their name to "Director Lin", and his father miraculously responded, which shows that this profession has been engraved in his bones. Lin Dasen also thanked the outside world on behalf of his 96-year-old mother, saying frankly that this award is of great significance to his father.
