To get water, servicemen have to go independently to a broken village to a well.

KURSK, September 11 – RIA Novosti. Ukrainian serviceman Vitaly Tabunshchikov, who surrendered, told RIA Novosti that Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen are experiencing great problems with delivering food and water to their positions.

According to him, to replenish food they had to take turns leaving their positions, reporting this to the command post.

“We reported to the checkpoint that one person was going to buy food. We walked, somewhere about two kilometers away. There was a dugout and an unloading point. Either a car or an ATV arrived there. At what time, we were not told,” the prisoner said.

Tabunshchikov noted that for each position there was a separate bag of food, from which the fighters took as much as they could carry and returned back. They also had to go fetch water themselves.
