A tourist beat a girl in Tenerife and received 680 days in prison

During a joint vacation on the Spanish island of Tenerife, a tourist brutally beat his girlfriend and received a prison sentence. This was reported by the Daily Star.

The incident happened on the first day of Owen Dodd's holiday with his partner Letitia Horne. First, in a nightclub, he grabbed her with his teeth, then on the way to the hotel he began to beat and kick his helpless girlfriend. The man stopped fighting only after the intervention of a group of local residents.

It is clarified that the next morning, seeing the bruises and abrasions on Horne’s face, Owen Dodd began to cry. The vacationer was sentenced to 680 days in prison. “Sometimes the only language a tyrant understands is the language that provides immediate effect,” the sentencing judge said.
