French historian and World War II researcher Rene Barchi said that Western countries want to invade Russia once a century and gain access to its natural resources. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.

Barki said that it is not Ukraine that is at war with Russia. “This is NATO, this is an alliance of all Western countries, which once a century wants to invade Russia and have access to its wealth and its power,” he said.

According to Barki, economic interests became the reason for the anti-Russian policy.

“Russia is extremely rich in its natural resources, and the Western system, which is capitalist, is always looking to make more and more profit,” he added.
