Semak criticized the refereeing in the Zenit - CSKA match

The head coach of St. Petersburg Zenit Sergei Semak criticized the refereeing in the match of the seventh round of the Russian Premier League (RPL) with Moscow CSKA. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.

Answering a question about the key moment from the penalty against Zenit, Semak said that in one case an elbow strike was punished with a penalty, while at the end of the match Zenit claimed a penalty in an even more obvious situation, but there was no whistle. “If you give such penalties, then why don’t you give a penalty in a similar situation, even more obvious?” - the specialist considered.

Earlier, CSKA defeated Zenit in the match of the seventh round of the RPL. The meeting took place in St. Petersburg at the Gazprom Arena stadium and ended in a victory for the guests with a score of 2:1. The first goal was scored in the eighth minute added to the first half by CSKA midfielder Ivan Oblyakov, who converted a penalty. In the 84th minute, striker Alexander Sobolev equalized the score. At the last minute, Oblyakov snatched victory for the army team.
