The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked Russian regions with drones, more than 700 drones were destroyed

On the night of September 11, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) massively attacked Russian regions with drones. Two Russian cities on the Volga were attacked, and authorities in the Tula region also reported serious consequences. According to the Ministry of Defense, more than 700 UAVs were destroyed.

It is known that air defense forces discovered and destroyed 26 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles in the skies over the Tula region. The governor of the region, Dmitry Milyaev, said that as a result of the attack, two people could not escape, and three more were injured. Doctors provide the victims with all necessary assistance.

The official added that the threat of a UAV attack continues to exist in the Tula region, and asked all residents to be attentive and careful.

As the Russian defense department later clarified, air defense systems shot down 777 Ukrainian UAVs overnight over the regions of the Russian Federation, as well as over the waters of the Black and Caspian Seas.

Putin spoke about the response to Ukrainian Armed Forces’ strikes on civilian targets

The Ukrainian Armed Forces are striking purely civilian Russian targets, President Vladimir Putin said at a plenary meeting of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF).

According to him, Moscow proceeded from the fact that civilian objects should not become the target of attacks even in conditions of armed conflict. “Our enemy, unfortunately, thinks differently, and began to strike these civilian, purely civilian targets. As you can see, we were forced to respond in a mirror way,” said the head of state.
