Drone attacks in Russia: victims in Tula Oblast, Volgograd and Saratov

Two people were killed and three injured in the Tula Oblast in western Russia, said the region's governor, Dmitry Milaev.

The head of the regional authorities announced in a post on Telegram that Russian air defense shot down 26 Ukrainian drones over the region at night.

Two people were injured in Volgograd, located in southwestern Russia. According to local authorities, the missile hit a residential building.

Shrapnel also damaged an industrial facility in the southern part of the city. The authorities did not specify which plant it was. Reuters pointed out that on the outskirts of Volgograd there is a refinery belonging to the Lukoil concern - one of the largest in Russia in terms of processing capacity.

Fire in the Ozon logistics center

The drone attack also caused damage to civilian infrastructure in Saratov on the Volga River. The governor of the Saratov region, Roman Busargin, announced that there were no deaths or injuries.

Ozon, the second largest e-commerce platform in Russia, reported that a fire broke out in its logistics center in Saratov after the drone strike.

Reuters recalled that more than 20 warehouses belonging to Ozon and its main competitor - Wildberries - were recently attacked.
