A resident of the Perm region survived for a week in the forest among swamps while hundreds of volunteers searched for her. Her story is published by RIA Novosti.

According to the agency, on August 30, a Russian woman went into the forest to pick berries and got lost. More than 300 people set out to search for her, who covered over one thousand kilometers during 200 hours of searching.

The Russian woman was found thanks to several tricks: she turned her jacket with the light side out to be more visible, and made a flag to attract attention by wrapping a bag around a stick. In addition, all this time she had her cell phone turned on.

As volunteers said, when the woman was found, she had to be carried out of the forest on a stretcher. No other details about the woman's condition were provided.
