Jesus responded to Ronaldo's statement about the conflict

The head coach of the Portuguese national team, Jorge Jesus, commented on the statement of forward Cristiano Ronaldo, who accused the coach of breaking promises. Sports.ru reports this.

Ronaldo (41 years old) left the national team before the Nations League match with Denmark (4:2). In his statement, the striker accused the coach of breaking his promise to him twice. According to the forward, Jesus did not release him for half an hour in the match with Norway (2:1), and then planned to leave him in reserve in the game with Denmark.

Earlier, Ronaldo prepared a letter about his retirement from the national team after the 2026 World Cup. However, the president of the Portuguese Football Federation convinced him to stay and support the appointment of Jesus.
