[Sports Center/Comprehensive Report] At the 2026 Fourth Dhaka Youth Olympic Games, Taiwanese table tennis player Chen Yanxin won the women's table tennis gold medal match with 4:2 (5:11, 12:10, 11:8, 11:13, 11:7, 12:10) in the women's table tennis gold medal match on the 5th local time. Defeating Singaporean player Liming Ying, the Taiwan team delegation won its first gold medal this year. This is also the first Youth Olympic table tennis gold medal in the team's history. Coach Huang Shengsheng was interviewed after the game and pointed out the key to Chen Yanxin's gold medal.

This is the first Youth Olympic table tennis gold medal in the history of Taiwan's representative team, and the fourth table tennis medal in team history. The first three are the silver medal in the men's singles at the 2010 Youth Olympic Games in Singapore (Hung Zixiang), the bronze medal in the mixed team competition at the 2018 Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires (Su Peiling, Lin Yunru), and this year's mixed doubles bronze medal won by Chen Xinxin and Lin Jinting. Chen Yanxin personally won 1 gold and 1 bronze in this Youth Olympic Games, and became the fourth Youth Olympic gold medalist in team history after Huang Huaixuan, Huang Yuren (taekwondo) and Jiang Nianxin (weightlifting) in the 2014 Nanjing Youth Olympics.

Coach Huang Shengsheng said that the opponent was difficult. Although she was ranked 10th in this tournament, she performed very well, especially her batting quality. When she encountered difficulties in the front, she couldn't find a good way to deal with it. Huang Shengsheng pointed out that later on, he tried to make the changes in tactics more flexible. "Don't be so rigid. It seems that only one or two routines are changing. If you didn't play out the first 3 or 4 rounds, try to use them in the 5th or 6th round, and the opponent will be confused."

Regarding her performance, Chen Yanxin said that the gold medal match was once in a difficult situation, but she still tried to stabilize the rhythm, playing one point for one. Facing the physical fatigue, she kept telling herself to hold on. Chen Yanxin admitted that coming to the Youth Olympics was not without pressure, but the coach and people around her continued to encourage her, and she believed that this gold medal would inspire her.
