Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrei Sibiga called for strengthening the country's air defense after attacks on Kyiv bridges

It is necessary to strengthen the air defense system of Ukraine. This is how the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Andrei Sibiga commented on the strikes of the Russian Armed Forces (AF) on the bridges of Kyiv, RBC-Ukraine reports on Telegram.

“Russia is systematically attacking the bridge infrastructure of the capital,” he noted.

According to Sibiga, Kyiv’s partners should increase investments in Ukrainian air defense systems, as well as increase sanctions pressure on Russia.

The Russian Armed Forces are increasingly striking Kyiv bridges. On October 4, the Ministry of Defense confirmed an attack on a bridge in the center of Kyiv. According to the department, the Northern Bridge was used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) to transport troops and military cargo.
