The Saudi Embassy in London is following up on the case of a Saudi citizen who was subjected to a stabbing incident in Mayfair

The Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United Kingdom said that it is “following with interest the case of a Saudi citizen who was subjected to a stabbing incident in the Mayfair area” in the capital, London, stressing that it is “coordinating with the relevant British authorities, and is keen to provide him with the necessary care and support, and to follow up on his health condition until he is discharged from the hospital in health and safety.”

The embassy added, in a statement on the “X” platform, previously Twitter, that it is “following up the circumstances of the incident with the relevant security authorities,” stressing “the importance of expediting the completion of investigations, revealing all details of the incident, and holding those responsible accountable in accordance with the law.”

The embassy also stressed "the importance of taking the necessary measures to enhance the safety of citizens and visitors in public areas."

In this context, the embassy called on male and female citizens to “exercise caution and avoid carrying valuables in public places.”
