Another man surnamed Wu was arrested in Zhang Junjie’s absconding case, and 8 accomplices were arrested

Non-party legislator Gao Jin Sumei's "big accountant" Zhang Junjie abandoned bail and absconded, and his whereabouts are a mystery so far. Last night, a man surnamed Wu who provided a vehicle to help Zhang escape was arrested. Task team members have now brought him from Tainan to the Xindian branch to clarify the case. After interrogation, he will be transferred to the Taipei District Prosecutor's Office for further questioning.

The prosecutor's investigation revealed that after filtering surveillance images, driving tracks, mobile phone calls, etc., Zhang Junjie was last seen in Tainan on the 12th. During this period, there were still unknown persons who contacted him. The suspect was arrested in Tainan yesterday. It is understood that he lent the authorized car to the suspect on the 11th. He initially argued that he did not know Zhang and only drove the car to lend out at the request of an unknown friend. As for who he provided it to, the prosecutor still needs to further clarify.

On the 6th of this month, Zhang went to Xindian Coffee Shop to find his assistant Chen Junwei. In the afternoon, he went to Daan Forest Park to meet Chen Weida of Baohehui. After the two destroyed their electronic bracelets, they took a taxi together in the Wanhua and Taoyuan areas.
