The suspect, who admitted that he carried out repeated attacks to change vehicles on the escape route after the first murders, said that he shot and killed Seydi Ahmet Aydoğmuş and Satı Aydoğmuş, who were in the vehicle he stopped on the Kıyır village road, on the grounds that they did not give them their vehicles and tried to take the rifle, and stole their vehicles.

The suspect stated that he killed Şen by shooting him in the head after the driver of the vehicle, İsmail Şen, with whom he had a slight friction while driving with the hijacked vehicle, saw the rifle and said that he would call the police. He stated that he opened fire on a tow truck (TIR) ​​that he claimed trapped him in the Selimiye village area.

The suspect stated that he seriously injured Sevgi Postalcı, who did not give him her car in the center of Afyonkarahisar, by shooting her in the head, and that he stopped the vehicle with teachers in the vicinity of Yukarıtandır village.

Describing those moments in cold blood, the suspect said, "As I approached the Yukarıtandır village of İhsaniye district, I blocked the front of the black vehicle to change the vehicle. There were three women in the vehicle. The one in the front seat got out. I told the person who got out that I had killed many people and that I needed a vehicle to escape. The other two people did not get down. First I counted down from 10, then from 5. When I saw that they did not get out and did not leave the phone, I shot and killed both of them, aiming separately from the vehicle. "I did not harm the person who landed," he said.

Özdemir explained that he bought a combine harvester from Ahmet Uzel for 40 thousand Euros last year and started working around Manisa and Izmir with this combine harvester. However, he stated that while he was working in the field in Izmir, the combine harvester suddenly burned and became unusable, and after this incident, there was a disagreement between him and Uzel. According to Özdemir's statement, Uzel met with him last week and asked for the remaining 11 thousand Euros from the combine harvester. Özdemir said that his debt was 4 thousand Euros and that he would pay it in a short time. It was claimed that the dispute between the parties regarding the amount of the debt escalated and that swearing and threats were exchanged over the phone.

Özdemir invited Ahmet Uzel to Afyonkarahisar to make the payment on the day of the incident, and they met at the exit of Ayazini village when Uzel came to the city with Bekir and Numan Toprak. Following the argument that broke out here, Özdemir allegedly opened fire with the shotgun he brought with him and killed three people. It was claimed that Özdemir, who fled the scene after killing three people, targeted other people he encountered on his route in order to steal their vehicles.
