This is the first time that the African Expo has landed in western China. It is hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and jointly organized by the Chongqing Municipal Culture and Tourism Development Commission and the Nan'an District People's Government. This African Expo will give full play to the business negotiation function of the exhibition, hold resource docking and theme dialogue activities, build a dialogue and exchange platform for intangible cultural heritage workshops, project protection units, representative inheritors, industry experts, and market entities, promote in-depth docking of intangible cultural heritage protection and inheritance entities and market operating entities, and strive to achieve cooperation in product procurement, marketing promotion, cross-border joint branding, etc. In addition, Chongqing will jointly launch more than 30 themed activities such as the 5th Sichuan-Chongqing Folk Art Performance Conference, an academic forum on intangible cultural heritage, and an intangible cultural heritage aesthetics market.
