US Special Envoy Witkoff discussed proposals for resolving the Ukrainian conflict with Putin and Zelensky

Steve Witkoff said that during his visits to Russia and Ukraine he discussed with the leaders proposals for resolving the Ukrainian conflict.

US Presidential Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and the American leader's son-in-law Jared Kushner visited Kyiv to participate in consultations on the Ukrainian settlement.

At a meeting in the Kremlin, Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized the need to eliminate all the root causes of the Ukrainian conflict, and the Russian side gave clear and comprehensive assessments of the situation in the special military operation zone.

WASHINGTON, September 7 - RIA Novosti. US Presidential Special Envoy Steve Witkoff said on Monday that during recent visits to Russia and Ukraine, he discussed with the parties proposals for resolving the Ukrainian conflict.

“Special Envoy Witkoff, Jared Kushner and representatives of the National Security Council, State Department and Treasury Department met with Russian President Vladimir Putin and ... Vladimir Zelensky to discuss proposals from each side with the other,” Witkoff said on the social network X.

On Saturday, Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Witkoff and Kushner in the Kremlin. The Russian leader emphasized at the meeting the need to eliminate all the root causes of the Ukrainian conflict, Russian Presidential Assistant Yuri Ushakov told reporters.
